Just a few minutes ago I hear screeching from the bathroom. I get up to investigate. The girls have spotted a very small spider (or piece of dirt, I am not sure) in the bathtub. Eliza instructs, "Get back, everyone.... I'll get that spider. I'll squish it and kill it. It will be okay...." She tears a piece of toilet paper off the roll and steps into the bathtub. After about three cautious attempts she smashes the tiny thing under her hand on the toilet paper. She examined the remains on the toilet paper and then dropped it in the toilet and flushed. She looks up proudly and asks, "Am I both of your hero?" I exclaimed, "oh, yes, you're our hero." She gleams, "Yeah, I
am your hero, like Daddy."

Our super hero proudly wears her Halloween spider shirt with her lilac pants with purple and blue butterflies on it. Daddy took both girls to the Hair Cuttery on Saturday while I ran into Toys R Us to look for a birthday gift. Daddy got Eliza a bob cut. Sadie just got a trim. I was growing out her bangs but she has started to pull out her clips and pony tails so I decided to cut her bangs so she can see. Eliza has never let me put anything in her hair so they get to sport the cute short hair dos! I like the hair cuts, but I have to compliment
my sister here... She is a dog groomer so I had her
trim Eliza's bangs the last time they needed it. She cut them so much straighter! Maybe I'll have her cut their hair from now on. It's like I've always said, if you want a good hair cut, see your family dog groomer. ;)
