Hormones

"My biggest fear is that PMS doesn't really exist
and this is my real personality."

I saw this statement on the wall of the examining room at the OBGYN this afternoon. It made me laugh out loud so I thought I'd share it. BTW, I heard the wee fetus's heart beat today so the baby is alive. :) I am not too surprised, being that the sweet fetus is making me sick, which is why I havent' been posting or reading blogs lately. I am sorry I havent' visited you, my bloggy friends. I am just trying to keep up with the laundry and and dishes. I am failing at that but at least I have consistently fed the kids. Today I bought a big supply of paper plates and bowls to minimize the dishes mess over the next few weeks.. I am 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant with a due date of September 28th.

Pre-schoolers First Sleepover

Eliza had her first sleepover a few weeks ago. Her guest: Cousin Wyatt. My sister and her husband went out of town to the temple. They had to leave early on Saturday morning and they were going to be gone all day so they dropped Wyatt off on Friday evening. Wyatt and Eliza thought it would be a good idea if Eliza slept on the air mattress too. Eliza usually goes to bed around 7:30. Because of the special occasion I let the kids stay up until 9:00. They sure had a lot of fun together not sleeping. Why was I not surprised? Finally at 11:30, when I was ready for bed, I had them close their eyes and I stood there and watched them for about 3 minutes. They fell asleep. They just needed to stop moving. Fifteen minutes later I heard Eliza crying. She had rolled off the air mattress and landed on her toys. She requested I move her to her bed. So now I know she still does need her bed rails. :)

The next morning...everyone was a little tired.
The kiddos always love painting. We had a fun treat! SNOW!!!!

We don't get a lot of snow in Virginia. So I don't want to invest in snow attire that will be worn twice before it is outgrown. So, just ignore the crazy non matching layers and my nephew's pink gloves. :) Sadie is wearing a snow suit my mom found in the Spring on sale a few years ago. Its about two sizes smaller than she actually wears, but you didn't notice, right?

Fun times!
