We don't get a lot of snow in Virginia. So I don't want to invest in snow attire that will be worn twice before it is outgrown. So, just ignore the crazy non matching layers and my nephew's pink gloves. :) Sadie is wearing a snow suit my mom found in the Spring on sale a few years ago. Its about two sizes smaller than she actually wears, but you didn't notice, right?

Pre-schoolers First Sleepover
Eliza had her first sleepover a few weeks ago. Her guest: Cousin Wyatt. My sister and her husband went out of town to the temple. They had to leave early on Saturday morning and they were going to be gone all day so they dropped Wyatt off on Friday evening. Wyatt and Eliza thought it would be a good idea if Eliza slept on the air mattress too. Eliza usually goes to bed around 7:30. Because of the special occasion I let the kids stay up until 9:00. They sure had a lot of fun together not sleeping. Why was I not surprised? Finally at 11:30, when I was ready for bed, I had them close their eyes and I stood there and watched them for about 3 minutes. They fell asleep. They just needed to stop moving. Fifteen minutes later I heard Eliza crying. She had rolled off the air mattress and landed on her toys. She requested I move her to her bed. So now I know she still does need her bed rails. :)
The next morning...everyone was a little tired.
The kiddos always love painting.
We had a fun treat! SNOW!!!!

Sleepovers...they only get harder!
7:30, wow, in my dreams!
too cute!
Aw, that was fun.
Terry, you are a precious mommy!!
Loved the pictures, especially the one with Dad sacked out on the couch. :) I still don't know why they call them "sleep"overs! ;)
Nice pics ... especially of David.
Happy primary day
Remember to vote ...
And if you are a Democrat, vote often.
She looks pretty good compared to the 18 month snow pants we put on Liam the first snow of the season. He could barely walk.
What a fun milestone, the sleep over.
Love that snowman! Great work!
Terry
Thanks for the post and thanks for the photos, the whole thing looks FUN! Families ARE forever.

Too cute. I had to laugh at the "next day" I have been there a time or two ... Plus we used to have the same chair, we opted for the sofa with a print, but had the same green chair with ottoman. :) We made a snowman the last time it snowed too. The next day it was a snow stump.
You won an award. It must be because of your great picture taking ability. That and your mad OneTrueMedia skillz!
Just stopped by to say hello, Mommy Terry! Hope all is well...
