Family Prayer Time

When we say our family prayers at night, the girls like to help. Eliza will repeat the last few words of every statement. And she can finish the prayer by herself. When we announce that it is prayer time, Sadie says, "Knees, Knees, " and then gets down on her knees. As David or I pray Sadie will quietly mumble gibberish until the end and then she will clearly state, "Amen." She's such a doll. We are actually working on reverence with Eliza. She likes to repeat the prayer from anywhere. For instance, she will get up half way through a prayer and go play with something, all the while she will continue to repeat the prayer.

Sadie Sings

Okay, so Sadie sort-of sings. Sadie likes to do everything Eliza does. So she has tried to learn to sing "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam." She only sings four words from the song, "at chool, at play." Its still beautiful.... Everyone knows thats the best part anyway.

Eliza Masters Literacy

As one can clearly see from this clip, Eliza has mastered reading and writing skills!
