Snow Day!
David took the girls out and romped in the snow! It fell all night long. It was his first snow day since starting at the juvenile prison!

Eliza, Math Wiz.... and Why I'm Left Out
Yesterday I asked Eliza if she remembered my friend, Sister Derby. I reminded her that we went to her house once and spent the night downstairs. There were lots of kids there and they played outside in the pool. Sister Derby has three little girls. Eliza confirmed that she remembered them. I told Eliza, "Well, Sister Derby is pregnant with twins!" Eliza responded, "So then they will have five!"
Yep, Eliza solved a math word problem!
Speaking of Katie....
I have been friends with the same group of girlfriends since I was 13 years old. We have all moved around all over the USA but we are all now back in Virginia. I love my girlfriends, Katie, Alisha, and Jenny and I feel lucky that we have been able to keep in touch throughout the years.
Alisha has 3 year old twins, a boy and a girl. Jenny has 1 year old twins, also a boy and a girl. Katie just announced that she is expecting twins! WHAT ARE THE ODDS? I know we aren't the only people in the world or anything... but seriously... Four girlfriends and Three sets of twins!
I love twins! Who doesn't? I always wanted twins... until I had a baby. Then I decided I would like to have my babies one at a time, for two reasons. First, I hold my babies A LOT... if I had two at once, I don't know how I'd manage that. I know that twins would be so much more work. Secondly, I love babies so I figure if I have my babies one at a time I can have a baby in the home for slightly more of my life.
But there is the less practical side of me that forgets about the work and thinks that having twins would be adorably awesome! So, I think I'm feeling a little left out here.... Congratulations to Alisha, Jenny, and Katie on your amazing twins!

on Alisha's Wedding Day
The summer after graduating from High School, Katie, Jenny and I took a little road trip. We went to The Hill Cumorah Pagent in New York, and then to Canada to see Niagra Falls. I believe this photo was taken in Niagra Falls somewhere. :0)
Katie and Jenny were driving to Utah to go to BYU. I came along to help them drive. We ran into some car topper problems along the way with the KT KWIK Coffin Car.

Levi's first time playing with a toy
Today Levi reached out and played with a toy for the first time. He spun the little crab on his crib aquarium. By the time I thought to film it and retrieved the camera, he was starting to get tired of it but I was able to capture a short clip. :)
