"Dear Heavenly Father...
I'm sad. I don't have nothing...All I want is a Genevieve set for my birthday and a Hello Kitty Moobie for my birthday. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen"
-Sadie, age 3
My little preschooler uttered this prayer when we knelt for family prayer this evening. She whined out the first 3 sentences and quickly turned cheerful as she thought of the rest. Have we done something wrong?

Well a double negative makes a positive so if she "don't have nothing" then she does have something. She just wants to add to her something to make more things:)
How adorable and sincere. I love to hear children's prayers.
Sounds like that was a purely innocent, an original prayer and not rehearsed. Excellent. Sadie makes me smile when I listen to her. What a cute kid and a cute personality.
You may have to clue me in on what a moobie is. I am a little out of touch.
Oh no!!! That is so sad! These little ones are so deprived. :)
Jana,
I think moobie is movie in little kid talk.
