Diego and Friends

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I went to The Children's Museum with our friends, Nikki, Melissa and Kayla. We had issues with our internet connection for about a week and I had trouble uploading pictures so I didn't post about it sooner. Anyway, we had a great time, as we always do with our friends. The highlight was meeting Diego and his sister, Alicia, from Nick Jr. After playing at the museum, we went for a donut. Fun times.

Sadie talks to Diego

If you are unfamiliar with educational toddler shows like Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go, then let me explain... These interactive shows ask kids questions and pause to let them answer.

Well, this morning Sadie verbally interacted with Diego for the first time. Diego asks, "Is a leather- back sea turtle black and green or black and white?" Sadie answers, "Green." Diego replies, "Right, White!" (Good Guess, Sadie, you usually see green turtles).

Then I get the camera, rewind the show, and film this event. The second time Sadie hears the question about the color of leather-back sea turtles she answers, "white." She learned! Wow. How amazing! I am not exactly bragging about my how smart my 20 month old tot is, I'm just recognizing that her brain works very well!
