Pre-schoolers are full of surprises.
I had no idea that Eliza had any idea about "dot coms and dot orgs." I know that looks a little scripted but its not at all. I just grabbed the camera and started filming her. (I did, however, help her type in pbskids.org just before the last scene). Sadie surprised me when she proudly showed me her drawing. It resembled a face, not just scribble. :)

Just growing and waiting for Mommy
Just after dinner our family had this conversation tonight. The conversation ended in one of those rare moments that left a tear in my eye. So sweet...
Me: Guess what, girls.
Eliza: Hmm?
Me: Aunt Molly has a baby growing in her tummy!
Eliza: (wide eyed interest)
Me: (pinch fingers together really small) The baby is teeny tiny small like this. The baby is growing in her tummy and when the baby is this big (move hands about 20" apart) the baby will be born.
(David enters the room)
Me: Eliza tell Daddy what Aunt Molly has in her tummy.
Eliza: (proud grin and excitment in voice) Daddy, Aunt Molly has a baby growing in her tummy! (pinches fingers in like manner to Mommy) The baby is tiny small, like this. The baby is growing bigger and bigger in Aunt Molly's tummy.....
Daddy: Wow.
(Eliza turns to me): He said, "wow" (in an awed whisper).
(Eliza turns back to Daddy).
Eliza: I was a tiny baby and I grew bigger (jumps up and raises hand high in the air). I grew in Mommy Amanda's tummy.
Sadie: (jumps around growing like Eliza and enthusiastically says,) I grow in Mommy
A
manda's tummy.
Eliza: No, Sadie, you grew in Mommy Terry's tummy.
Sadie: I grew in Mommy Terry's tummy?
Eliza: Yeah, Sadie!... I grew in Mommy Amanda's tummy and waited for Mommy.
She waited for me...its so sweet. I love that kiddo.

Thank you, Hubby!
Yesterday afternoon I was browsing the internet looking for free blog templates. I came across one that I liked except it had a photo of someone else's baby on it. I told David that I'd like this template if only it had a picture of MY babies instead. Being a man and wanting to rescue me or something, he takes a look. He reads the code and then determines he can do that. Hubby spent three hours last night cutting, pasting, HTML code manipulating, and I don't know what else... Then he presented my new blog look to me. I love it!!! Its awesome! It looks so much better than my previous bland looking blog. Thank you, Hubby, for all your time and effort! You're the best!
