Me: Guess what, girls.
Eliza: Hmm?
Me: Aunt Molly has a baby growing in her tummy!
Eliza: (wide eyed interest)
Me: (pinch fingers together really small) The baby is teeny tiny small like this. The baby is growing in her tummy and when the baby is this big (move hands about 20" apart) the baby will be born.
(David enters the room)
Me: Eliza tell Daddy what Aunt Molly has in her tummy.
Eliza: (proud grin and excitment in voice) Daddy, Aunt Molly has a baby growing in her tummy! (pinches fingers in like manner to Mommy) The baby is tiny small, like this. The baby is growing bigger and bigger in Aunt Molly's tummy.....
Daddy: Wow.
(Eliza turns to me): He said, "wow" (in an awed whisper).
(Eliza turns back to Daddy).
Eliza: I was a tiny baby and I grew bigger (jumps up and raises hand high in the air). I grew in Mommy Amanda's tummy.
Sadie: (jumps around growing like Eliza and enthusiastically says,) I grow in Mommy
A
Eliza: No, Sadie, you grew in Mommy Terry's tummy.
Sadie: I grew in Mommy Terry's tummy?
Eliza: Yeah, Sadie!... I grew in Mommy Amanda's tummy and waited for Mommy.
She waited for me...its so sweet. I love that kiddo.

That is one of the sweetest things I have ever heard. Wow. I am SO glad she waited for you!
That is adorable. Kids are so precious! I am going to link your blog to mine if that is okay, I have been reading it for awhile now :-)
*tears* That is so awesome!
What joy! That is the sweetest, Terry! What a special family.
Aw, that is so cute. :) I think my 4 and 6 year old girls have developed sarcasm. {sigh} But they do have an aunt with a growing baby too, so we get to answer all those questions. Fortunately we didn't have the "How'd it get there?" question yet. :)
Wow... all because I'm growing a baby inside my tummy.
I agree about your 'new blog look'! Hubby did a great job. It always astounds me that the girls change so much in such a short time...or, so it seems to me.
Such sweetness abounds from their little mouths!
Blessings on you all...
that is so cute. Quite a tear jerking moment.
