Dot com

Pre-schoolers are full of surprises.

I had no idea that Eliza had any idea about "dot coms and dot orgs." I know that looks a little scripted but its not at all. I just grabbed the camera and started filming her. (I did, however, help her type in pbskids.org just before the last scene). Sadie surprised me when she proudly showed me her drawing. It resembled a face, not just scribble. :)

You're right. Eliza is not supposed to get on the laptop. I usually keep it up high, but I carelessly left it on the couch.

Hi Terry! Thanks for stopping by my blog. It is always astounding to me see children today navigate the web. The next time I'm having computer trouble I think I'll just call in Brooklyn's second grade class!

Wow on the S. That is SMART! (I used to be an early childhood coordinator/teacher before becoming a reading specialist).

It's also cool that both are principals (or soon will be).

Thanks Christy, its fun to hear a real professional say my little Sadie is smart!

Melissa says, "Thank you for putting that on your blog so that I could enjoy it." (I am not kidding... that is what she said!) They are SO smart!

Kids pick up the smallest things. All the kid shows mention their websites at the beginning or end and I never thought twice about it. What a smart observant girlie!

Sadie's art work really does look great! You need to get out the paints again so she can recreate and you can frame it!

Good stuff. Your kids are very smart and who knows, someday they will have their own information systems business! Families are forever.
